Anthropology in Worldbuilding

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Breathe life into your settings, characters, traditions, and stories by learning how to examine cultures as an anthropologist. Studying real-world cultural trends helps game masters, players, and authors in answering the big-picture questions about their fictional societies as well as investigating the endearing nuances that make those cultures truly inspiring. In this panel we examine anthropological techniques and pitfalls alike to flesh out your setting’s human, humanoid, and entirely monstrous inhabitants and their histories.
